Glass plate level gauge


Glass plate liquid level gauge can be used to directly indicate the level of the sealed container, has the advantages of simple structure, intuitive and reliable, durable, but the medium in the container must be with steel, steel paper and graphite pressure ring corrosion effect. HG5 type glass plate liquid level gauge is produced according to the original HG5-1364~1370-80 standard of the Ministry of Chemical Industry, which is suitable for direct indication of various towers, tanks, tanks and other containers in the medium liquid level. Safety steel balls are installed in the upper and lower valves of the instrument. When the glass is accidentally broken, the steel balls can automatically close the liquid flow channel under the action of the pressure in the container to prevent the liquid level from continuing to drain. A blocking hole screw is provided at the valve end of the instrument for use in sampling or in discharging the remaining liquid in the instrument during maintenance. According to the principle of the communicator, the actual height of the liquid level in the container is directly displayed through the transparent glass.


Structural principle


The meter is equipped with M27×1.5 or ZG3/4" threaded connectors on both upper and lower valves, which are connected to the container through a flange to form a communication device. The height of the liquid level in the container can be read directly through the glass plate.

Matters needing attention


In order to ensure the automatic sealing effect, the medium pressure in the container should be greater than 0.2MPa. When opening the upper and lower valves, the stem exit revolution should be no less than 4 revolutions, so that the steel ball will not touch the top of the stem when sealing the door.


Glass material requirements


1, the liquid level gauge glass should have appropriate chemical stability and thermal stability, good mechanical strength, small expansion coefficient;


2, color: glass plate color should be colorless transparent or slightly light yellow or light green.
