I. Product Overview:

LDE series split electromagnetic flowmeter is a kind of induction instrument to measure the volume flow of conductive medium in the tube according to the law of Faraday electromagnetic induction. It adopts split design, convenient maintenance and increase the service life of the electromagnetic flowmeter. Wall-mounted flow converter, effective protection sensor conversion circuit, conducive to anti-corrosion, moisture-proof, waterproof. Product wiring is simple, convenient installation. The split electromagnetic consists of a sensor and a transducer mounted on a measuring pipe. The transducer is installed within 30 meters or 100 meters from the sensor, and the two are connected by a shielded cable to measure the volume flow of a conducting liquid. The main components of the sensor are: measuring tube, electrode, excitation coil, iron core and yoke shell. It is mainly used to measure the volume flow of conducting liquid and slurry in closed pipe.


Ii. Working principle:

According to Faraday's principle of electromagnetic induction, a pair of detecting electrodes are installed on the wall of the tube perpendicular to the axis of the measuring tube and the line of magnetic force. When the conducting liquid moves along the axis of the measuring tube, the conducting liquid cuts the line of magnetic force to generate the induced potential, which is detected by the two detecting electrodes. The value is directly proportional to the flow rate, and its value is: E=KBVD formula:

E-induced potential;

K- coefficient related to magnetic field distribution and axial length;

B- magnetic induction intensity;

V- average velocity of conducting liquid;

D- electrode spacing; (Measuring tube diameter)

The sensor takes the induced potential E as the flow signal and transmits it to the converter. After a series of digital processing through amplification, transformation and filtering, the instantaneous flow and cumulative flow are displayed by dot matrix LCD with backlight. Converter has 4~20mA output, alarm output and frequency output, and is equipped with RS-485 communication interface, and support HART and MODBUS protocol.


Three, application:


LDE series split electromagnetic flowmeters are mainly used to measure the volume flow of conducting liquid and slurry in closed pipes. Such as water, sewage, mud, pulp, all kinds of acid, alkali, salt solution, food slurry, etc., widely used in petroleum, chemical industry, metallurgy, textile, food, pharmaceutical, papermaking and other industries as well as municipal management, water conservancy construction and other fields to measure high temperature, high humidity, inconvenient observation environment.


Iv. Structure Form:

1. Sensor:

The sensor is mainly composed of measuring conduit, measuring electrode, excitation coil, iron core, magnetic yoke and shell.

a. Measuring catheter: composed of stainless steel catheter, lining and connecting flange, it is the carrier for measuring the field condition of the measured liquid.

b. Measuring electrode: a pair of electrodes installed on the inner side wall of the measuring catheter and perpendicular to the direction of axial flow to generate signals from the measuring liquid.

c. Excitation coil: the upper and lower excitation coils that generate a magnetic field in the measuring catheter.

d, iron core and magnetic yoke: introduce the magnetic field generated by the excitation coil into the liquid, and form a magnetic loop.

e. Shell: outer packing of instrument.

2, converter: that is, the intelligent secondary table, the flow signal amplification processing, SCM calculation, can display the flow, cumulative amount, and can output pulse, analog current and other signals, used for fluid flow measurement or control.

3, the product assembly form: it is divided into a body type and sub-body type two forms.

a, one type: sensor and converter integrated installation.

b. Sub-type: sensor and converter are separated and installed, and flow metering system is formed by connecting cables.

c, in order to adapt to the requirements of different media measurement, the sensor lining and electrode materials can have a variety of choices.


Five, the main characteristics:

1, flow measurement is not affected by fluid density, viscosity, temperature, pressure and conductivity changes, sensor induced voltage signal and the average velocity of the linear relationship, so the measurement accuracy is high.

2, the measurement pipeline in the free flow parts, so there is no additional pressure loss; There are no moving parts in the measuring pipe, so the sensor life is very long.

3. Because the induced voltage signal is formed in the whole space filled with magnetic field, it is the average value on the surface of the pipeline, so the straight pipe segment required by the sensor is shorter, the length is 5 times the diameter of the pipeline.

4, the sensor part only lining and electrode contact with the measured liquid, as long as the reasonable selection of electrode and lining material, can be resistant to corrosion and wear.

5, LD converter adopts international advanced single-chip microcomputer (MCU) and surface mounting technology (SMT), reliable performance, high precision, low power consumption, zero stability, convenient parameter setting. Click the Chinese display LCD to display the cumulative flow rate, instantaneous flow rate, flow rate, flow percentage, etc.

6, measurement system, can measure the forward flow, reverse flow. The use of special production process and better materials, to ensure that the performance of products in a long time to maintain stability.

7, suitable for measuring the volume flow of conductive liquid and slurry in the closed pipeline, such as clean water, sewage, all kinds of acid, alkali and salt solutions, mud, pulp, pulp and food liquids.
