I. Overview of instrument:
Hot jacket bimetal thermometer is a kind of field detection instrument suitable for measuring medium and low temperature, which can be used to directly measure the temperature of gas, liquid and steam. From the design principle and structure, the thermometer has the characteristics of waterproof, anti-corrosion, flame-proof, shock resistance, intuitive, easy reading, no mercury damage, strong and durable. A measuring instrument that can replace other forms.
Two, measurement principle:
It works on the principle that two different metals expand differently when temperature changes. The main element of a bimetallic thermometer for industrial use is a multilayer metal sheet made up of two or more metal sheets pressed together. In order to improve the sensitivity of bimetallic thermometers, metal sheets are usually made into spiral coils. When the temperature of the multilayer metal sheet changes, the expansion or contraction of each layer of metal varies, making the spiral coil rolled up or loosened. Since one end of the coil is fixed and the other end is connected to a freely rotating pointer, when the bimetal feels the temperature change, the pointer can indicate the temperature on a circular indexing scale.
Three, application:
Suitable for various installation sleeves, to meet the requirements of different pressure levels. It can directly measure the temperature of liquid, steam and gas medium and solid surface in the range of -80-+500℃ in various production processes.

Six, precautions
1, can not directly twist the watch head;
2, length selection to choose close to the standard size (50mm integer multiple);
3. The length of the protective tube immersed in the measured medium must be greater than the length of the temperature sensing element. Generally, the immersion length is recommended to be greater than 100mm, and the immersion length of 0-50℃ range is recommended to be greater than 150mm, so as to ensure the accuracy of measurement.
4, bimetal thermometer should not be used to measure the temperature of the medium in the open container.
5, in the custody, use of installation and transportation, should avoid collision protection tube, do not make the protection tube bending deformation, more can not be used as a wrench table.
6, in the case of normal use should be regularly inspected. Generally every six months is appropriate.
7, do not allow to work in the strong vibration environment, so as not to shadow the bimetal life, electric contact bimetal thermometer is not allowed to be used in the vibration of the larger occasions of the control loop, so as not to affect the reliability.
