The problems of bimetal thermometer in use

Bimetallic thermometer is wound into a threaded shape of the hot bimetallic sheet as a temperature sensing device, and it is installed in the protective sleeve tube, one end is fixed, called the fixed end, the other end is connected to a thin shaft, become the free end. The free end spool is provided with a pointer. When the temperature changes, the free end of the temperature sensing device rotates accordingly, driving the pointer on the thin axis to produce Angle changes, indicating the corresponding temperature on the scale dial.

The problems of bimetal thermometer in use are as follows:

1, bimetal thermometer in the storage, installation, use and transportation process, should try to avoid collision protection tube, do not make the protection. The guard tube is bent and deformed. Do not twist the instrument housing during installation.

2, the instrument should work normally in -30℃ ~ 80℃ ambient temperature.

3. The temperature for regular operation of instruments is better than 1/2 ~ 3/4 of the scale range.

4, bimetal thermometer protection tube immersed in the measured medium length must be greater than the length of the temperature sensing element, generally more than 100mm immersion length,0-50℃ range of immersion length is greater than 150mm, in order to ensure the accuracy of measurement.

5, all kinds of bimetal thermometer should not be used for measuring the temperature of the medium in the open container, live contact thermometer should not be used in the control loop of the occasion of large vibration.

6, bimetal thermometer in storage, use, installation and transportation, should avoid collision with the protective tube, do not make the protective tube bend and change the table as a wrench.

7. The thermometer should be inspected regularly under normal use. Generally every six months is appropriate. Electric contact thermometers are not allowed to work under strong vibration, so as not to affect the reliability of the contact.
