The correct selection of wear-resistant thermocouple in cement metallurgy industry

In cement metallurgy industry, the wear-resistant thermocouple can't meet the special temperature conditions of high temperature and scour resistance due to the material problems of the protective tube in the ordinary wear-resistant thermocouple, aiming at the characteristics of the cone temperature of the three-stage cylinder, four-stage cylinder and five-stage cylinder on the production line of cement dry rotary kiln, as well as the temperature of the middle part of the decomposition furnace, the smoke at the tail of the kiln and the kiln head. It leads to short service life of thermocouple, increased condition funds, frequent product replacement, signal transmission is not guaranteed, the instrument is in a state of alarm for a long time, and increased a lot of workload for instrument maintenance. This phenomenon is a common problem existing in the cement industry in the country at present.


After a lot of research and research, combined with the characteristics of foreign cement production technology, the advent of special wear-resistant thermocouple cement plant, not only solved the cement industry wear-resistant temperature control problem, but also brought considerable economic benefits for each user unit.


Cement factory special wear-resistant thermocouple is mainly composed of junction box, wiring pipe, special protective pipe, insulating sleeve, wiring terminal, special lining sleeve, thermal electrode composed of basic structure, and equipped with a variety of installation components, in the optional accessories at the same time can be integrated temperature transmitter.


Cement plant special wear-resistant thermocouple protection tube general wall thickness of 4-8 mm (according to the temperature location to determine). The protective tube is specially designed for cement plants. Its function is to extend the service life of thermocouples at the temperature measuring points of C3, C4, C5, decomposing furnace, tertiary air pipe, kiln tail smoke and kiln head cover. In the installation of the product, according to the different industrial measurement and control points, in advance on the kiln to leave a blank or protective tube, and select the corresponding specifications of the special thermocouple.


In the design process of this product, fully consider the specifications and models installed by the 1000-10000T/D cement production line in operation, for the use of each measurement and control points on the production line.


Selection of protective tube length: insert depth in furnace + wall thickness + exposed part outside furnace = total length.


When installing or replacing thermocouples during production operations, place the thermocouple slowly into the furnace and fix the connection device.


When the temperature of the process measurement and control point is at 1100℃ for a long time, the thermocouple normally works for about 60 working days. Because the couple wire is in a high temperature state for a long time, its precision will change slightly. The temperature measuring element of the thermocouple can be replaced according to the requirements of the process.


In places involving blanking or scouring, the thermocouple will be turned over and reinstalled at 90℃ after 60 working days, so as to double the life of the special wear-resistant thermocouple.
